Irreversibility of climate change

Effects of climate change ‘irreversible,’ U.N. panel warns in report, Joby Warrick and Chris Mooney
November 2

Dismal science again.

What in the world is reversible that these conservative reactionaries - stagnationists reveling in "business as usual" climate, even as they attack "business as usual" emissions (as if there are any such things) - dare issue "warnings"?

"The planet faces a future of extreme weather, rising sea levels and melting polar ice from soaring levels of carbon dioxide and other gases, the U.N. panel said. Only an unprecedented global effort to slash emissions within a relatively short time period will prevent temperatures from crossing a threshold that scientists say could trigger far more dangerous disruptions, the panel warned."

Oh, really. As if humanity hasn't weathered other calamities in the last 150- or 300-odd years. (Even the 100-year peace had its droughts and famines).

Generating doom by models. Infantilism.
